This level helps students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely. Skills learned in the Little Swimmers class are improved upon and new elementary aquatic skills are introduced to help develop good attitudes and safe practices around the water. Children must have passed the Little Swimmers class or test out of the Little Swimmers class before taking this level. Your student may be ready for Level 1 lessons if they are able to go under water and are able to float by themselves without a life jacket.

Children must be a minimum of 44 inches tall AND at least 5 years old to participate in Level 1.
