  • Princeton Sideline Cheer: Gr. 7-12

    Come show your school spirit and cheer on the Princeton Tigers this Fall! Sideline Cheer is a co-ed program open to all skills levels for middle and high school students entering grades 7-12. The season starts with a bootcamp week with evaluations for team placement based on skill level. Practices start the following week and continue through the end of October. New and returning cheerleaders should consider joining the Skills Clinic class offered earlier in the summer to learn and refine skills. Entering Grades 7-12: Mark your calendars! Bootcamp/Evaluation Week: 7/21-7/25, Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm Summer Practices: 7/29-8/21, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am-12pm School-year Practices: 8/26-TBD (end of October/early November), Mon-Wed, 3:30-5:30pm (may vary depending on game schedules and team placements) Games: Schedules vary based on team placement. We follow the Mississippi 8 Conference schedule. Practice will be held outside the high school gym in the grass area. If the grass is wet or it is raining, practice will be held in the gymnastics gym. Times are subject to change. Cheer during Varsity Football games that start in early September on Friday nights. JV games will be on Mondays and Thursdays (for JV and 9th grade football) Some team-building activities and fundraising opportunities will also be scheduled. * A Parent/Player meeting will be scheduled during first week of bootcamp, your student will not know which team they are on until after evaluations.
  • Future Friday Nighters Football Camp: Gr. 4-8

    Prepare to be a champion! Learn from the varsity coaching staff and improve your on the field skills. Camp will include: individual positional groups, proper technique development, and team building games. All players and positions are encouraged to attend. T-shirt is provided. Please bring cleats/tennis shoes and a water bottle. * Any registrations after July 28 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt!
  • Princeton Tigers Youth Football (Tackle League): Gr. 2-6

    Teams are divided by grade and determined by coaches and league directors. There is absolutely no requesting of teams. Home games will be played on Saturdays at the Middle School football field or in Forest Lake. Away games will take place at nearby communities and could take place on weekday nights or weekends. Practices will take place at the High School football practice fields. Practice dates and times will be determined by the coach/director, with 2-3 practices per week. There can be no more than four contact days in a week, including games. All equipment and football gear are the responsibility of the participants' family. There is a $60 deposit required for jerseys. Mandatory Player/Parent meeting: Monday, August 11th at 6pm at the High School Practice Football Fields, first practice will follow from 6:30-8:00pm. Players and parents will meet their coach and get more information about future practices and games this evening. Mandatory Volunteer Coaches meeting: Coaches meeting will be Monday, July 28th @ 6:00pm at the Primary School Cafeteria. Each grade’s coaches will meet for information. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Ryan Fay at ryan.fay@isd477.org by July 1st. Coaches will be selected by July 15th. Volunteer coaches require a background check. A coaching shirt will be provided for coaches, up to three per team. Community Ed will NOT be providing equipment, only game jerseys will be provided. Game jerseys are property of Community Education and will require a $60 deposit. Those wanting to keep their jersey after the season will be allowed, minus the $60 deposit. Deposits can be made online, or a check can be brought the first week of practice or the day of pictures for the cost of the jersey. We will hold on to checks and only deposit those that do not return their jerseys. Participants are responsible for supplying the following: white or black helmet mouth guard shoulder pads practice jersey black football pants with pads cleats (rubber only) personal protective gear We suggest purchasing equipment earlier rather than later as football equipment is hard to find come August. Football equipment hand-out days: July 21st and 23rd from 4-5:30pm at Princeton Primary School Gym. (We will not be doing exchanges, only new purchases.) Teams do have numbers limited, so to ensure a spot on a team, please register as soon as possible! A late fee of $30 will be added to anyone that registers after August 11th and no players will be enrolled after August 22nd. Days, Dates, and Times TBD and vary by grade. Schedules will be released the week of August 11th. Picture Day is scheduled for TBD and will be communicated by coaches/director.

    Small Group Strength and Conditioning: Gr. 9-12

    Athletes have the opportunity to purchase monthly programs that are written in a more generic manner to improve athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury. These programs will incorporate injury prevention for common injuries seen in their specific sports. Programs will also include sport-specific training, with slightly different programming for each sport depending on its demands. Register for your month and time frame either mornings or evenings from 6:30-7:30am or 6:30-7:30pm.

    One-to-One Strength and Conditioning: Gr. 9-12

    Athletes who are interested in a more tailored approach can sign up for one-to-one coaching. These programs will also incorporate injury prevention. Additionally, these programs will include an intake evaluation and monthly follow-ups with the athlete and the strength coach to discuss program progress and make changes as needed. This service will allow for a more tailored program depending on the athlete deficits and specific needs. Register online through Community Ed and then the instructor will contact you to set up your one-to-one schedule. Times available will be Monday-Friday from 6:30-7:30am or 6:30-7:30pm. Registration will get you 4 sessions per week. Cost is $165 for your first month and $110/month thereafter.

    Saturday Morning Recovery Sessions: Gr. 9-12

    A 1-hour recovery session, consisting of restorative flow yoga, partner stretching, and light conditioning to reduce the risk of injury, improve athletic performance, and reduce soreness from sport participation. EXCLUSION: This service is not for athletes in rehabilitation for a current injury such as post-surgical recovery, concussion, ankle sprain, etc. This service is not physical therapy, nor does it replace rehabilitation currently being performed with athletic training staff or a rehab professional.

    DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense) training and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (cleats and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.

    DASH Sports Soccer Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the game of soccer. Key elements of dribbling, passing, and shooting will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (cleats and shin guards optional). Soccer balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year-old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year-old age group.

    Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group

  • First Ballet: Ages 3.5-8

    Is your tiny dancer already twirling their way through your home? This class for ages 3.5 to 8 will offer a chance to refine your child's dancing, express themselves through movement, and meet friends who love the same thing! This class includes beginner ballet movements, overall body strengthening, clean music, original choreography, an enthusiastic teacher, and a performance for parents on the last day! Students need to be able to follow basic directions from the instructor (stand on your dot, raise your hands up together, etc.).
  • Tiger Youth Game Day Cheer Camp: Gr. K-6

    Come show your Tiger Spirit while you learn how to lead a crowd with new cheers and a sideline dance! Participants will perform during the first half of the September 26th Varsity Football home game versus Fergus Falls. Registration includes a t-shirt and one cheer prop (sign, poms, mini mega-phone, etc). This co-ed camp welcomes all students and no experience is required! Practice will be held in the 3rd Station Gym on Tuesday 9/23, Wednesday 9/24, and Thursday 9/25 from 6-8pm with the game on Friday 9/26. Please arrive at the High School at 6:15pm for the 7:00pm game time. End time is after half-time. This camp serves as a fundraiser for the PHS Cheer Team.
  • Youth Volleyball Camp: Ages 4-Gr. K

    This camp is designed to give an introduction to volleyball, while establishing the fundamental skills. The goal is to build athletes of integrity and character, coach lifelong skills, instill a passion for the game of volleyball in a positive environment, and to simply have fun playing the game! Participant t-shirt is included. Class is led by Princeton JO Volleyball Club coaches and players.
  • BMX Bike Racing: Pre-K to Adult

    Learn the sport of BMX Bike Racing! Rum River BMX is the #1 indoor facility in the country. Unlike traditional sports, in BMX, no one sits on the bench! BMX riding is a great way for kids and adults to stay active, build confidence, develop important life skills, connect with others, and have fun. This session will cover BMX fundamentals including “What is BMX racing?” racing bike types, BMX terminology, and BMX safety. Also, the most important lesson, how to RIDE LIKE THE WIND! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novice) who are interested in the sport. If you can pedal your bike without training wheels, you can take part in this class. No special bikes are required, if it has wheels, a few adjustments and we will make it work for this class (your bike will need to have the reflectors, kickstand, chain guard, and pegs removed). If you do not have a bike, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available at the track for use on a first come, first served basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required. You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. Check in is from 5:30 to 6:00pm and class is from 6:00 to 7:45pm.

    This section is for both boys and girls entering PreK-K. The goal of Junior Tiger Basketball is to develop boys and girls into basketball players by teaching them the fundamentals of the game through a positive, fun, and enthusiastic environment. Players of all experience levels will have an opportunity to further develop their skills and gain confidence as basketball players. We use a 6.5-foot hoop for our youngest Junior Tigers and work up to an 9-foot hoop for our older participants. Camp is organized by Princeton Boys Varsity Head Coach Brett Cloutier. Important: REGISTER EARLY! Participants who register prior to September 20th are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. Anyone who registers past this date may not receive a t-shirt.
