  • Middle School Early Risers: Gr. 6-8

    What is the Early Risers Program? The Princeton Middle School Early Risers Program is a program that provides supervised structured time from 7:30-8:30am for students needing a positive head start to their days. Students attending the early riser program will be provided an opportunity to eat breakfast, work on school work, read, organize and plan for their day, or exercise/move prior to their school day. Who Would Benefit from the Early Risers Program? Students may need additional time before school for a variety of reasons. Our aim is to support students who may need a quiet work space with dependable school wi-fi, students and families affected by the tiered busing/varied start times in other schools within the district, and students/families seeking a quiet space for students to work in the morning.
  • My Little Horse Camp: Ages 2-5

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. :) PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • RC Car Racing Clinic: Gr. K-8

    Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Then come join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out! Participants will test out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars and will leave with a better understanding of them. Participants can use the provided RC Cars or their own on approval.
  • Horse Day Camp: Ages 6-18

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn ● No flip flops ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS): Ages 11+

    The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute gives participants everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube "vlogger" style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.
  • Home Alone: Ages 8+

    Is your child ready for the independence of being home alone? Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether it is for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a child who is mature and well prepared. This class for children will address several topics relating to being "Home Alone" including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after school routines, phone calls, door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and first aid tips. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child.
  • Battle Drones: Gr. 3-9

    Battle Drones features an exciting combination of aerial acrobatics with an engineering design challenge that will teach students STEM concepts, teamwork, and how to skillfully fly a drone. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents’ drones. Students will be guided by experienced camp instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize projectile speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. The best drone pilots and launchers will emerge victorious! Students can choose to bring their drone home for an additional $55 due at registration. The drones retail for ~$100.

    Aviation Adventures: Gr. K-2

    Join us for an exciting week of hands-on classes focused on aviation. Learn the science behind flying, discover interesting types of aircraft, build a paper glider, and have the opportunity to sit in a real single-engine aircraft! Camp is held at the Princeton Airport Arrival and Departure (A&D) Building.
  • Paper Doll Fashion: Gr K-5

    Calling all fashion lovers! Create your very own paper doll, and design a closet of clothes filled with splashes of colors, glitter, and beautiful beads! Together we will also create a flipbook home for our dolls. Everything will be laminated with velcro patches for easy outfit changes. Come join in on the fun!
  • Hot Wheels Art: Gr. 2-6

    In this class you will learn how to draw cool cars, inspired by Hot Wheels. Together we will use watercolors, paints, and colored pencils to bring the cars to life! Parents of the artists are welcome to join us for the last 10 minutes of class as each day we will host a car show to exhibit their speedy art!

    RC Robotics: Gr. 2-6

    Making it move is the name of this game! Students will love seeing their creations in motion using IR remote control Lego Mindstorm Components. Learn more about science, engineering, and technology while having FUN through hands-on projects. Students will explore robotic concepts in small teams by working through step-by-step projects and example programs. They will then have the opportunity to modify the builds and programs. Please bring a nut-free lunch and a labeled water bottle to this Friday camp.
  • School of Fish: Gr. 3+

    School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults) from grades 3 and up taught by pro angler and fishing TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. Class cost gets kids: Rod & reel School of Fish hat or t-shirt Tackle box and tackle School of Fish full color workbook Most importantly, graduates leave class with the knowledge, skills, and equipment to go fishing! One adult is invited to attend with a child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment packet.

    In this class we will ditch the standard medium used for paint. Together, we will paint beautiful designs on a plastic canvas, which will mimic the look of stained glass. How fun to explore a new approach to painting!

    Calling all Minecraft lovers! In this class you will learn how to draw your favorite Minecraft characters. We will bring each character to life using paints, watercolors, and colored pencils.
  • Campout Camp: Gr. 4-8

    Do you enjoy camping? Do you love the outdoors and nature? This is the class for you! Join us for a one-week long campout camp where you will learn the ins and outs of camping and get tips and tricks along the way. Some topics that students will get hands-on experience with are shelters, building fires, cooking over a campfire, canoeing, packing, and traveling. The first day of class will be held indoors at the Princeton High School. For the remainder of the week, students will meet at Riverside Park in Princeton. Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes and shoes, bring sunscreen, bug spray, and water.

    Pizza Making with Pizza Barn: Gr. 3-5

    Learn the fine art of making a pizza from Pizza Barn, which was voted one of the top five pizza places in the State of Minnesota! It is all about using your own recipes from start to finish. We will guide you through the process of making our pizza dough from scratch and all the different sauces that can go on a pizza. You will learn that everything can be a potential pizza topping and how the cheese can make or break your pizza. Every participant will get a full tour of the Pizza Barn kitchen, a Pizza Barn t-shirt, a dry mix of our house pizza dough, a cup of Pizza Sauce, and all the skills needed to make a quality pizza right at home. After 41 years in the Princeton Community, we will let you in on a few of our tips, tricks and secrets!

    This program is designed to be a head start opportunity for students who have competed in VEX Robotics at the High School Level or competed in 8th grade and plan to compete at the High School Level in 2024/25 season.   • Drama Camp: Gr. 1-9

    Princeton’s Drama Camp is pleased to announce Alice in Wonderland, Jr. as this summer’s workshop production. Camp Coordinator Hannah Jenson and the instructional staff are excited to bring this classic Disney story to the Performing Arts Center stage. Drama Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to create a sophisticated piece of art, collaborate with kids of all ages, work on self-confidence and teamwork, and get outside of their comfort zones! Camp will feature lessons designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills like performance, design, direction, writing, and technical theatre through the lens of the show. All of this is done by employing student-driven, project-based learning through an immersive curriculum intended to challenge students academically and artistically. Drama Camp is organized into an all-day, two-week experience for students entering grades 4-9. Younger students (entering gr. 1-3) join for the mornings during the second week. The final morning, camp starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until the show that night at 6:00 p.m. Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes with socks daily. Participants are expected to bring a bag lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a water bottle. Dinner (pizza) is provided prior to the final performance. Performance t-shirt is included in the fee.

    Extreme Robotics: Bionic Beasts: Gr. 4-8

    Students will program robots to move, act, and think on their own. Discover the excitement of programming your creation to follow a command and watch it go. Our classes are fun, educational, and hands-on, teaching students the foundations of building and programming concepts. Students working in teams will then be challenged to morph their projects into better, stronger, or faster robots. Please bring a nut-free lunch and a labeled water bottle to this Friday camp.
