  • Middle School Early Risers: Gr. 6-8

    What is the Early Risers Program? The Princeton Middle School Early Risers Program provides supervised structured time from 7:00-8:15am for students needing a positive head start to their day. Students attending Early Risers will be provided an opportunity to eat breakfast, work on school assignments, read, organize and plan their daily schedule, or exercise/move prior to their school day. Who Would Benefit from the Early Risers Program? Students may need additional time before school for a variety of reasons. Our goal is to support those seeking a quiet work space in the morning with dependable school Wi-Fi as well as those affected by the tiered busing/varied start times in the Princeton School District.
  • Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS): Ages 11+

    The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the CABS student book at the end of class. Topics cover everything from getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children, safety, safe sleep practices, caregiving, emergencies, and basic first aid. CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the core learning objectives to receive certification, valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.
  • Home Alone: Ages 8+

    Is your child ready for the independence of being home alone? Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a mature and well-prepared child. This class for children will address several topics relating to being “Home Alone,” including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after-school routines, phone calls and door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and basic first aid tips. Students attend this class independently, and parents are encouraged to review the information and discuss it with their child/children after class.
  • Horse Day Camp: Ages 6-15

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders. Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn ● No flip flops ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • School of Fish for All Seasons: Gr. 2+

    The ZEBCO School of Fish for All Seasons is an extension of the very popular School of Fish class which focuses totally on open water fishing. This class will cover both open water and ice fishing! The class will be 2 1/2-hours and open to kids (and adults!) from grades 2 and up taught by pro angler and Fishing the Midwest TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes during all seasons, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup – a setup that works equally well during ice season and open water. For that, kids get: ZEBCO Rod & Reel School of Fish Hat or T-shirt Tackle box and tackle School of Fish full color workbook One adult is invited to attend with a child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment packet.   • Handmade Holiday Cards: Gr. K-2

    Come have some fun creating festive holiday cards to give to friends, relatives, or teachers! Cards will include reindeer, snowmen, Christmas trees, and more. Students should come home with three or more cards!
  • Lip Gloss and Lotion: Gr. 6-8

    Become a fragrance scientist and create your own scent of lotion and lip gloss. Take home in your own personalized cosmetic bag.
  • My Little Horse Camp: Ages 2-5

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe, and learn how to groom the horses . . . all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. A parent/guardian must remain with children at all times.   • Online: D&D Minecraft Adventures: Gr. 3-7

    Learn the basics of Dungeons and Dragons. Pick and develop your character and join us for a Minecraft one-shot campaign! Minecraft is a Mojang Studios trademark. This class is not affiliated with them. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM Internet: Broadband internet Webcam, Microphone and Speakers Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard. Additional Technical Requirement: Minecraft Java Edition ($30; more information will be provided before class)
