Animal Welfare 101: Caring for Creatures Big and Small: Gr. 6-8

Youth Enrichment -
Fall 2025

Get ready to explore the world of animal care and compassion in partnership with Ruff Start Rescue staff! In this three-part class, students will dive into the basics of animal welfare through fun, hands-on learning. Each session highlights a different way we can help animals live their best lives: Session 1 Enrichment, Session 2 Nutrition & Habitat, and Session 3 Veterinary Care. This course builds empathy, encourages responsibility, and empowers kids to make a difference for animals at home. An animal friend will join in the fun each session as well! Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based animal rescue located in Princeton, MN.

This class cost is lowered to only $15 thanks to our sponsor: Country Pup Kennel!
