Princeton’s Drama Camp is pleased to announce Disney Frozen, Jr. as this summer’s workshop production. Camp Coordinator Hannah Jenson and the instructional staff are excited to bring this loved Disney story to the Performing Arts Center stage. Drama Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to create a sophisticated piece of art, collaborate with kids of all ages, work on self-confidence and teamwork, and get outside of their comfort zones! Camp will feature lessons designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills like performance, design, direction, writing, and technical theatre through the lens of the show. All of this is done by employing student-driven, project-based learning through an immersive curriculum intended to challenge students academically and artistically. Drama Camp is organized into an all-day, two-week experience for students entering grades 4-9. Younger students (entering gr. 1-3) join for the mornings during the second week. The final morning, camp starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until the show that night at 6:00 p.m.
Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes with socks daily. Participants are expected to bring a bag lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a water bottle. Dinner (pizza) is provided prior to the final performance. Performance t-shirt is included in the fee.
