Youth Enrichment
Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming and caring for the horses (including bathing), and feeding them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about one hour per day in an arena (no trails) and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day.
Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day.
