Tillering Farm is located in Milaca. It is owned and operated by Rob & Samantha Heitke and produces heritage pork and grass-fed beef for direct, farmer's-market sales. The farm allows space for a large vegetable garden in addition to pasture and hay and the family finds much joy in eating 100% home-grown meals. The class is co-taught because, as they have found, gardening takes a team effort. Rob's background in horticulture and landscaping and Samantha's creativity and love of pulling weeds makes it all work. They are excited to host this event on the farm because it encourages fellowship, restores generational wisdom, and builds community.
